The cabin is on top of my house at San Eugenio (Las Americas). It can be rented out as a separate unit and contains a studio type room with a bed settee and all essential furnishings including the kitchen area. The kitchen area contains a sink, microwave, electric kettle, electric pan (there is not an oven). It also has a TV with English ITV, BBC etc (no sky). There is a shower and toilet within the cabin. The cabin has an air conditioning unit which is fantastic when you step inside from the heat of the sun. It also has a sun patio which on a sunny day is idyllic, with views to the ocean and mountain.
The cabin is situated 250 yards from the ocean, 5 minutes walk to the beach, port and bars.
The supermarket and other shopping is a couple of minutes walk from the cabin.
The cabin is a self contained unit on the roof of the main house, with a separate staircase.
The house and the cabin are situated on a private estate called Villaflor. There is a communal pool on the estate which of course you would have the use of.
The Villaflor estate is situated approximately 3/4 mile from central Las Americas. All facilities are nearby but the immediate surroundings are quiet and secure. There are other houses either side of the property. Car parking within the estate is available on the estate roads, subject to availability but no private parking is available. On the public road outside the estate there are parking bays but like everywhere subject to availability.
The cabin is a lovely little unit suitable for a couple, perhaps with a baby but not recommended for children under 14 years of age due to the dangers of the heights etc.
The studio is about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. The cost of a taxi is 20-25 euros.
